Use Your Garage Without the Bugs

Lifestyle garage screens work with your existing garage door. The screen lowers when you want fresh air and retracts when you want to close the garage door like normal.

Great for extra living space

Use the garage for a home gym, kids area, party space, workshop, pet zone, smoking area or weekend hangout.

Retractable passage door

The Lifestyle system can include a center passage door so you can walk in and out without raising the whole screen.

Built for garage openings

Available in common garage sizes, multiple frame colors and screen material options including more durable PVC-coated screen.

Final installed price is confirmed after photos and measurements of the opening, track setup, side room, and headroom. Frame color choices do not usually change the estimate; PVC screen material, size, and fit conditions do.

See How Lifestyle Garage Screens Work

Instead of sending you to a brochure, here are the visuals that matter: the screen works inside the garage opening, raises and lowers separately from your garage door, and can include a walk-through passage door.

Fresh air without opening the garage to bugs

The screen sits in the garage opening while your normal garage door stays above it. When you are done using the space, retract the screen and close the garage door like usual.

  • Great for garage gyms, workshops, parties, pets and hangout space
  • Spring-loaded operation
  • Works with your existing garage door

Options, Sizes and Colors

Lifestyle garage screens are special-order products, so the exact setup depends on the garage opening, door track layout, frame color and screen material.

Works with your existing garage door

The screen does not replace the garage door. It operates on its own track system and trades places with the door when you want fresh air and bug protection.

Spring-loaded operation

The counterbalanced screen opens and closes by hand. No separate garage door opener is needed for the screen.

Passage door option

A walk-through passage door can be added so you can step in and out without raising the whole screen.

Size range

Common options run from 6' to 18' wide and 7', 8', 9' or 10' tall. The 9' and 10' tall models are available up to 16' wide.

Available frame colors

Colors are shown as a visual guide. Final color can vary by screen, lighting and supplier availability.

Screen Material Choices

Standard fiberglass screen

18x14 charcoal fiberglass mesh. Best choice when the main goal is airflow and bug protection.

White PVC-coated polyester

17x20 mesh. Stronger material with more privacy and pet resistance.

Black PVC-coated polyester

17x20 mesh. Stronger material with pet resistance while keeping a darker screen look.

Will It Work With My Garage?

Usually yes

Standard garage doors are usually a good fit. We confirm by checking photos of the opening, door tracks and side room.

Low-headroom warning

Lifestyle says the system does not work on low-headroom double-horizontal-track doors. We will verify before quoting.

High-lift doors

High-lift doors may work, but the screen stores at standard height, so the layout has to be reviewed first.

Warranty note

Lifestyle lists a limited lifetime parts warranty. Screen mesh and labor are separate, so final coverage is confirmed at time of order.

Is a Garage Screen a Good Fit?

Good fit

You want airflow, shade and bug protection while using the garage as a flexible living or work space.

Maybe not

If your garage is packed with storage or the opening/framing is unusual, we should review photos before quoting.

Easy first step

Text photos of the inside of the garage opening, the door tracks, and the full opening width/height for a realistic quote.
